There are a number of file storage options available to SPS staff.
G Drive
The G drive is available to all staff with ALPHA accounts. It allows users to store up to 500mb of personal, word related files that they can access by loging into any computer on the Columbia network, or by connecting to the Columbia VPN. If a user needs additional space in their G drive, they must first get approval from SPS Finance.
H Drive
The H drive is available to all staff with ALPHA accounts. It is a shared drive meaning multiple people have access to its directories. The H drive is used by all of Columbia, so SPS related files should be saved in the SPS folder. The SPS folder is further divided into subfolders for different departments, and users should be careful to save their files in the appropriate directory. Users should save documents here that other employees will need to access.
LionMail Drive
Everyone at Columbia has a LionMail account. LionMail is part of the Google Apps suite and therefor includes Drive. Columbia users have unlimited storage space in LionMail Drive. For instructions on setting up LionMail Drive, go here.
