CUIT has enabled LionMail Drive for storing files in the cloud. If you want LionMail Drive installed on your computer, either contact SPSTech and we can install it for you or go here and download it yourself. When using LionMail Drive please make sure you comply with existing Columbia University Policies (for more information, see the CUIT LionMail Drive page and the CUIT LionMail Drive Security page).
Once LionMail Drive is installed, follow these instructions to complete the setup.

If you want to change the synced directory after you have already set up Drive, you can simply log out and then follow these instructions.
Steps:
1. Click the Start Menu -> All Programs -> Google Drive -> Google Drive
2. If the Google Drive sign in window opens, skip ahead to step 4.
If not, find the Google Drive icon in the taskbar (it may be hidden, if it is click the arrow to show hidden items) and right-click it.
3. Click Sign in
4. Enter your Columbia email and password
5. Enter your UNI and password
6. Click Next, then Next, then Next, then Advanced Setup.
8. Under Folder Location click the Change... button. Select your My Documentsfolder and click Start sync
9. Anything you put in your My Documents folder will be automatically synced to the cloud. Please make sure you put any important files in your My Documentsfolder to make sure they get backed up.
