Steps:
1. Download (here) VPN client software. Make sure you download the right version for your operating system
2. If the file doesn't automatically open, find it and open it
3. Click Continue to begin the installation
4. Click Continue again
5. Enter your Uni and password and then click Install
6. Enter the username and password for your computer and click OK
7. Your profile is now installed. Click Show All
8. From the System Preferences main window select Network
9. Select Columbia VPN from the list on the left
10. Click Connect
11. Enter your Uni and password when prompted
12. You are now connected to the Columbia VPN. You can close System Preferences
13. From the Finder go to Go->Connect to Server... or press Command+K
14. Enter the Server Address and click Connect
The address of the H drive is: smb://c-gp1.ais.columbia.edu/grp1
The address of the G drive is: smb://c-usr.ais.columbia.edu/users/U/uni (replace the 'U'with the first letter of your Uni, and 'uni'with your Uni)
To add a url to favorites, click the plus icon
To view your connection history, click the clock icon
15. Enter your Uni and password and click Connect. The drive is now mounted on your computer.
