PCI Citrix Setup Process
Logging in to any secure Credit Card Payment Gateway may only be accessed through a hard-wired connectareion to the University’s Secure Server. ABSOLUTELY no wireless, VPN or Remote Desktop connections to the server is permitted.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR LOCAL IT SUPPORT ENSURE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN
ON THE COMPUTER(s) WHERE CITRIX WILL BE INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING THE CITRIX
SOFTWARE. THEY MUST VERIFY BY CHECKING OFF EACH ITEM LISTED BELOW AS COMPLETE,
THEN TYPE NAME AND DATE WHERE INDICATED AND RETURN TO CREDITCARDS@COLUMBIA.EDU
1. Disable the following services:
RDP and HTTP (Microsoft-HTTPAP 2.0)
2. Ensure the following registry values are set to true (1)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters\EnableSecuritySignature
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters\RequireSecuritySignature
3. Download and install the Citrix ClientPoint browser to http://receiver.citrix.com and follow the instructions (The URL is the same for PC and Macs) - root privileges will be required.
4. Once the above is complete, the User must test connectivity to the Citrix - Credit Card Gateway
a) In the IE Browser enter URL: https://ccprocess.cuit.columbia.edu
b) Login using your alpha (Citrix user) credentials:
username: your UNI
password: your *updated UNI password
*refer to welcome email from Treasury
c) Once successfully logged into Citrix, follow the remaining instructions provided in welcome email from Treasury.
