CUIT has enabled LionMail Drive for storing files in the cloud. To install LionMail Drive on your computer download it here, then follow these instructions to complete the setup. When using LionMail Drive please make sure you comply with existing Columbia University Policies (for more information, see theCUIT LionMail Drive page and the CUIT LionMail Drive Security page).

Steps:1. Once you've downloaded the file, open your Downloads folder and open disk image file.

2. Drag the Google Drive application into the Applications folder.

3. Open your Applications folder and open the Google Drive application.

4. If you get a pop-up asking if you're sure you want to open it, click Open.

5. Click Get Started >.

6. Enter your Columbia email address and password and click Sign in.

7. Enter your UNI and password and click Login.

8. Click Next >.

9. Click Next >.

10. Click Next >.

11. Click Done.

12. There is now a folder in your user directory called Google Drive. Anything you put in that folder will be automatically synced to the cloud. Please make sure you put any important files in theGoogle Drive folder to make sure they get backed up.
