Greetings OnBase End Users,
Our upgrade is complete. We are now onOnBase16!
We'd like share some information regarding the upcoming week and the transition to the new version16for your respective departments. Below are a few items to note:
NewOnBase16Clients
- Unity Client - The new Unity client replaces the the old "thick" client. All users that previously used the thick client should install the Unity client at their earliest convenience, as the thick client will not be able to connect to theOnBasedatabase moving forward. Attached are instructions for installing the new client, as well as a quick reference guide to the Unity client. Remember the Unity client is only compatible with Windows Operating Systems and that the installation link must be run from an Internet Explorer web browser.

- Thick Client Removal - Since the thick client is being deprecated, we will be working with the CUIT Desktop and Engineering teams, as well as your respectiveIT Departments to uninstall the "thick" clients over the next several weeks.
Upgrade Support
The EDM team is scheduled be on call for additional support throughout the stabilization period this upcoming week. We will have dedicated support from 8:00 AM through 6:00 PM on a daily basis until all major issues are resolved. Issue Logging - The EDM team has reached out to your respective departmentalOnBasecontacts to help log and communicate upgrade-related issues to us. Please gather as much information about your issue and pass along to your contact.
